Nevada elk landowner tag for unit 231, unit 223, unit 241 and unit 242 unit 223 is a new unit added to this elk tag and this unit has never been hunted so could be a great addition to this already great elk landowner tag.
This tag can be used in any one of the following seasons.

Lodging can be provided at the ranch Guest Ranche in Nevada There are five lodges of various sizes to accommodate guests. Each lodge has its own sleeping accomodations, with a private bath, fireplace or woodburning stove and a kitchenette. There is no electricity for some 17 miles but we have propane lighting and propane refrigerators and generators when needed. We also have emergency cell service available at the ranch.
Daily rate per guest...................................$120.00 per day.
Children under 12 years old......................$100.00 per day.

Horse boarding (including hay)..................$10.00 per day.
A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required upon booking. The balance is due upon arrival / check-in at the Ranch.
Methods of payment include cash, personal and cashiers check, and money order. Personal checks will be accepted for the deposit only.
Cancellations less than sixty (60) days prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of deposit in its entirety, unless booked dates and accommodaitons can be rebooked, in which case deposit less ten percent (10%) will be returned to guest.

The ranch lodging for a hunter choosing to add accommodations to his tag fee are uniquely situated approximately one and one half miles from the Utah border. The Utah and Nevada land in this area is approximately 98% public land and is open for anyone to hunt. The elk and deer herds travel between both Nevada and Utah therefore having the same genealogy. Our Nevada property and ranch are located about 1 mile from Southwest Desert for the limited entry bull elk hunt which is also know to be one of the best trophy bull elk producing units in the west.
Unit 231, 223, 241, 242 Wilson Creek Range. The terrain can be moderate to difficult with good vehicle access in almost all the units. Lots of mature bulls with many in the 350 B&C range. Bulls up to the 380's ++ a few whoopers. Only 11 non resident rifle tags in '10, 4 archery tags non resident in '10 and 4 muzzleloader tags in 2010.
