Alaska Sea Duck HuntsSea Duck hunting is provided through this outfitter on Kodiak Island in Alaska. The area is home to a wide variety of Sea Ducks including scoters, bufflehead, common eider, greater scaup, mergansers, harlequin, old squaw and goldeneye. Hunters will boat just off shore to harvest the birds. This hunt is combined with the Sitka Blacktail Deer hunt. Few hunters would want to miss this exciting hunting adventure conducted from boats and spike tent camps on the island. TransportationAll transportation during the hunt will be provided by the outfitter as needed. These experienced guides use airplanes and boats to accomplish the task of hauling hunters to and from the hunting camps. |

Hunting LocationUnimak Island, Kodiak Island, Cold Bay, Adak Island, Raspberry Island, Afognak Island, and the Alaska Peninsula. The terrain ranges from windswept tundra to spruce rainforest to open grassy meadows to sandy beaches, and every sportsman should be prepared to tackle such changes in terrain. Sportsman will need to be in physical shape for the Mountain Goat hunts where climbing up to 1200 feet above sea level to harvest these elusive creatures is necessary. Unit 10 is home to over 300,000 birds and 3000 Caribou making the beginning or ending of your hunting trip a fantastic expedition one would not want to miss. |
