Lassen Gun and Guides and outfitter can provide you with a class “A” hunt, such as our private mule deer lease or one of our many guided fishing trips. Depending on the game desired, (California mule deer, caribou, elk, buffalo, California antelope, California black bear and more) and geographical locations, California and Alaska hunting can be difficult, hunts may be run from town or camps depending on the situation. Our guided hunts are well suited for the beginner, women, the seasoned outdoorsman and the disabled hunters.
Hunters may apply for California mule deer, California antelope, elk and California black bear tags in the general state drawing, or for those who wish to bypass the drawing, we offer hunts (such as California antelope, elk or buffalo), with secured tags or tagless hunts upon booking. This allows hunters to plan for their guided hunts well in advance with certainty. For sportsmen looking to hunt on their own, we offer what we call the “Pre-season scout hunt,” not offered for Alaska hunting. These trips are custom designed for areas that may be hunted without the use of a guide. Unlike drop camps, there are no time limits. Hunters provide their own lodging, meals and gear. These hunts continue to be quite productive with California hunting.
At your request, we will provide you with a reference list of past guided hunts or hunting club members, who you may contact and speak with about their experiences with Lassen Gun and Guides. They have been our greatest advertisement. Year after year returning guests account for 80 to 100% of our bookings.
