Our ranches in New Mexico can offer some of the best big game trophy Elk hunting in the area. These counties are listed as the number one and two counties in the state for world class animals. With the last two state record bull elk scoring 400+ points harvested from these counties.This area certainly speaks for itself with the average herd bull scoring in the 350 class and above.
The Continental Divide is intertwined through these West Central and Southwestern New Mexico ranches. We would rather no publicize the specific location of these private ranches (for obvious reasons) but we would be happy to provide this information by phone to any serious inquire. Our “Southern Divide” area is comprised of 3 connecting game management units (G.M.U.). One unit is primitive weapons (Muzzleloader and archery only).
The second unit is rifle and archery and the third unit is archery, muzzleloader and rifle. Any scoped muzzleloader is legal in New Mexico. Although kill success in this area is lower than Northern NM, it has produced the last 2 state record 400 pt. + bulls and is the top 2 producing counties for bulls taken scoring over 30 B&C and P&Y points over the last 10 years.
