Our moose hunting is done from a spike camp on the Yellowstone River before it reaches the park. Located next to the park line, the country is mostly meadows, some of which are several hundred acres in size.

Rams are generally found in rough country around 9,000 to 12,000 feet. When we have a sheep hunter coming in our camp, we spend some time previous to his arrival spotting rams.
