Outfitters is located in Central Nevada between Tonopah and Austin in
the middle of the Big Smoky Valley. By car, we're about 200 miles from
Reno and 300 miles from Las Vegas. We have been in business since 1990
and hold a permit to conduct business on public lands through the
Forest Service-Tonopah/Austin Districts and BLM, statewide. Licensed
with Nevada Department Of Wildlife and insured, Mustang Outfitters is a
Life member of North American Hunting Club, and belong to Safari Club
International, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, National Rifle

We offer 4 day Full Service Guided hunts for the Elusive ‘Ghost of the Desert’. These are for areas 161-162 & 163-164 and as with all Big Game (except Mt. Lion) Nevada has a drawing for these tags.
Our Elk hunting area is about the best in the state. We hunt area 162, the Table Mt. Wilderness, which can only be hunted by foot or horseback. This is a very limited draw.
We offer full service hunts or photo safari, your choice. You must be in reasonable shape due to the lack of roads in these areas. The season is open year round with November - February with snow being the best time.
