Location: These 2 units are located in Rio Grande county and Conejos county in southern Colorado near Antonito. The Rio Grande National Forest is located on the west end of the units. The south San Juan Wilderness is in the west end of unit 81. These units are near Alamosa Colorado, Monte Vista Colorado and Del Norte Colorado.

Accommodations: There are multiple good camping areas on the public land and along roads for this Unit 80 81 hunt. There are hotels in Alamosa as well as Monte Vista.

More Info: Tags come with 800 private acres in Fox Creek Canyon surrounded by three sides of public land to hunt and is located about 8 miles west of the town of Antonito off highway 17, but remember hunters can hunt any private land in both units 80 and 81 with permission from landowner.

These tags allow a hunter to hunt ALL PUBLIC and any private land with permission in unit 80 Colorado or unit 81 Colorado for mule deer bucks.
